At 1:28 pm Wednesday, the Pittsburg Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 300 block of W 8th Street near Herb White Way in the city of Pittsburg.
According to preliminary information, a male was riding a motorcycle when he was struck by gunfire and was hit. He laid the motorcycle down and began running away towards a home. He was treated by AMR and Contra Costa Fire on scene before being transported to a local hospital.
Along with hitting the male, gunfire struck at least one home.
No other information was related.

What a shame! One can’t even go riding anymore without some scumbag shooting you. Hope he’s OK! There’s a school nearby! He was actually running to a house, a structure. No one knows if it was a “home.”
