Letter: Webster Responds to Nichole Gardner’s Facing Homelessness in Antioch Video

by ECT

The following Letter to the Editor was submitted by Antwon Webster Sr., a candidate running against Nichole Gardner in the Antioch City Council Race for District 3.

Dear Antioch Residents,

First and foremost, I would like to say “Thank You”, to Officer Lenderman for doing his job.  In response to the video that was uploaded on Facebook about our Police Officers responding to a 72hour notice for the homeless to leave the area, I am personally grateful for the things they do.  Through their continued actions of upholding their oath to “Serve and Protect”.  I am proud to stand with them as they are the ones who we depend on in the event of an emergency.  Defunding the police is a mistake and would lead to total lawlessness.

We do not have the ability to police ourselves, or is that what we want?  In the video the phrase “That is why I want to defund the Police” was used.  Do we really want to live in a city where the police are not capable of doing their jobs due a lack of resources or even the ability to perform overtime duties when necessary?  We cannot move forward if the crime rate in our City does not reduce.  We all deserve to feel safe in our homes or even when we are out and about.  Personally, I want my family to feel safe at home knowing that there is a police presence in the community.

As a military veteran, I stand with all Armed Forces, to include the Antioch Police Department (APD).  As part my military career, I had the honor to “Serve and Protect” downrange in Iraq.  Putting your life on the line for others is the most honorable profession.  I honor what our Officers do and continue to do for us.

In closing…Thank You APD for everything you do.  Through “Unity and Collaboration” we can be better and will do better.

Respectfully,

Antwon Webster Sr.
Antioch City Council Candidate, District 3

Thank you Mr Webster. This is exactly one of the things I want our officers to do. As some one who has cleaned up the messes and filth left in this city by the homeless on my own unpaid time my suggestion young lady is you and your friends start cleaning it up too. You and your friends are contributing to the mess.

More people should be doing their homework on Ms. Gardner.

1. She was plucked by Lamar Thorpe to give him an extra vote if he is elected as Mayor.
2. She works with Mr. Thorpe (executive director) at the Los Medanos healthcare District as an admin assistant.
3. She also was elected to the Central Committee for the Contra Costa Democratic Party where she is being groomed by Thorpe.
4. Anyone following the homeless issue has likely seen Ms. Gardner being anti-police, aggressive and foul mouthed towards police.

Bottom line, she has no business being on any city council, even if you support helping the homeless.

Pro Lenderman and APD!! Nichole is only “helping” contributing to the disgusting, hazardous problems the homeless cause. Like they say “Don’t feed the stray animals if you want them to go away”

The Homeless group Ms. Gardner set up has 889 members. Perhaps if each member of that group offered their own homes to shelter and feed one homeless individual themselves, perhaps there might be a big dent in reducing the plight of these folks. Hollering and screaming to a police officer effects no change.

Be on alert!
There is an orchestrated Marxist take over of the Antioch governance.

Marxist are about as stealthy as an overweight elephant on rollerskates. The last minute game of musical chairs by candidates was a clue. Thorpe, Householder, Gardners and a few others are all Bernie Sanders “Burner” card carrying members.

Their cohort Shagoofa Khan was the ring leader of the now infintile infamous AUSD District office BLM attack (called a protest).

They dont even bother to use their own campaign designers for the election placards that are poping out as they all look the same and use the same layout.

So to recap. If you want Portland and Seatle to be played out here in Antioch with devastating Antifa/BLM rioters working hand in hand with city hall and the AUSD school board, THEN PAY ATTENTION!

BE SHEEPLE
OR
BE PATRIOTIC AND DEFIANT
(you cant be both!)

“YOU CAN LOOSE YOUR RIGHTS FOR A STICK OF GUM, BUT IT TAKES A BLOODY NOSE TO WRESTLE IT BACK”……..FCN.

You Sir are right on point. This piece needs to be shared publicly it needs to be put out there for all to see.

Here you see Ellie Householder and Shagoofa Khan holding Burnie Sanders Contra Costa County “OUR REVOLUTION” banner. The CCC OUR REVOLUTION is a Marxist Bernie Sanders/ Antifa(aka proFacista) BLM communist movement. Made to infiltrate every facet of local governance from School Boards to City councils to various planning boards to facilitate violent revoutionary change by stealth. see PORTLAND and SEATLE as well as other dumpster fire revolts going on now in our country.

She needs to go back to Richmond where she’s from and stop enabling pathological behavior in our Antioch community. No community wants to see this blight.

I don’t think I want another several years of the entire city council “often” voting the same way. It’s so sickening! I am also still fed-up that they gave themselves a raise (excluding Lori), with Covid-19, they should had voted to rescind the raise they gave themselves. Also, from the looks of all the money pouring into some of their campaign (specifically the fancy banners for mayor’s race), looks like they have PLENTY of money to blow threw…thanks to giving themselves the raise. …So pathetic how we basically funded their race with money that could have gone to the homeless or other social issues!
