At around 3:30 pm Thursday, Antioch Police responded to Meadowbrook Park for a report of a male holding a knife and shouting loudly.
Located on Calaveras Circle off Yellowstone Drive the man was taken into custody and police located the knife driven into a nearby tree.
Police said he will be placed on a psychiatric hold (5150) and offered no further details other than they have dealt with this individual in the past.
