K2GC Donates Lego’s to Antioch PAL Program

by ECT

On Tuesday, Antioch Police Chief Allan Cantando shared that Ken Turnage, of K2GC, provided a Lego donation to the Antioch Police Activities League to help further grow the program.

Cantando stated he was thankful for the donation made by Turnage which happened after he saw that the police were hosting a Lego’s and the Law event.

APD-Legos-IMG_4967“We began talking about Lego’s and the law where he mentioned he had Lego’s he wanted to give away. I told him we had some but we could use more. He said he wanted to donate Lego’s,” explained Cantando. “We met and he presented us with about $1,000 worth of Lego’s if we had to buy them.

According to Turnage, it was actually his daughter Sarina and cousins Isaac and Cameron who pulled together their Lego’s for donation.

“Even though I was the one who turned them over to the chief, it was my daughter and two nephews are the one who donated. I simply transported them after talking to them about the PAL program and it’s something they wanted to do,” said Turnage.

Chief Cantando highlighted how this was just another example of the community stepping up.

“It never ceases to amaze me. Here we have another example of residents and a business owner giving back to the kids of Antioch,” said Cantando. “It will allow us to expand the program going forward and for that I am grateful.”

That’s awesome Kenny Ray. Just another show of the dedication you have to this city. Your mom raised you right. Well, maybe you just learn from all those beatings that our moms (aka fungus and weezy) gave us. Hahahahaa. Keep up the good work.
