Today, the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office attempted to make contact with 38 year old Stephen Charles Schleimer at his residence in the 800 Blk. of Petri Ln. in Galt, CA. Schleimer is wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred on October 11, 2013, in the 11800 Blk. E. Peltier Rd. in Acampo, CA.
Schleimer was not at the residence, but was on his way home when he saw law enforcement in the area. Schleimer fled the area and led Sheriff’s deputies and CHP officers in a vehicle pursuit to Stockton, CA until Schleimer abandoned his vehicle near an orchard and fled on foot. Schleimer’s whereabouts are currently unknown.
Schleimer, Stephen – W/M/DOB 01-15-1976, 6’-0” tall, 250lbs., Bald/Shaved head, Hazel eyes. No clothing description.
Schleimer is considered “Armed and Dangerous”. Please do not approach, call your local law enforcement agency.

they’ve caught him. I think someone else is involved in this crime and has been arrested, but no connection made to the murder in Acampo…
