First Responders and Community Pay Tribute to Deputy Jeremy Ladue

A long line of police motorcycle escorts  lead one of their own fallen hero’s to the cemetery. Police departments and firefighters from Contra Costa County raised the American flag high over the Hwy 4, – G street over pass to pay tribute to Antioch high graduate class of 2009  Jeremy Ladue.

After serving in the Navy the 29 year old South Carolina Sheriff Deputy Jeremy Ladue  followed in his fathers law enforcement footsteps and took a job in the Charleston County Sheriff’s Department. Charleston South Carolina. His father, Don Ladue is a retired Lt on the Antioch CA Police Department.

Deputy Ladue was killed in the line of duty when on the way to a call, his patrol car crashed with another vehicle in an interception  April 13th.

Both he and the other driver passed away at the University of South Carolina hospital. Deputy LaDue had been with the Charleston Sheriffs department for 14 months Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery following the funeral at Antioch’s St Ignatius  Catholic Church .

Deputy LaDue is survived by his parents and sister
