At 8:52 am Wednesday, Contra Costa County firefighters responded to a report of a commercial structure fire in the 2200 block of a fourplex at Lemontree Way.
According to dispatch, a caller reported smoke coming from a window and nearby residents were requesting someone to call 9-1-1.
Engine 81 was first on scene and spotted the smoke around 8:58am with all occupants out of the residence. Upon further investigation, what was believed to be a bedroom fire turned out to be a bathroom fire.
By 9:07 am, firefighters reported that the fire was knocked down there was no extension into the attic area. A code 3 ambulance was requested for one of the residents.
A fire investigator was requested along with PG&E electric.
