At 2:10 pm Monday, Contra Costa County firefighters were dispatched to a report of a vegetation fire on the Pittsburg-Antioch Highway near Loveridge in the City of Pittsburg.
Upon arrival, Engine 85 reported a 1/4 acre vegetation fire. They requested the railroad tracks be shut down.
They requested a second engine to the scene for assistance and cancelled the balance. This fire was near last weeks fire in front of USS-POSCO
By 2:19 pm, the fire was out.
