Antioch Police Police Halloween 3(Event)

Come trick or treat with the Antioch Police Department at their drive-thru event on Oct. 31 between 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. You can interact with police officers and staff as youth will be provided with goody bags and delicious candies.

Did you know, Boondoggies is now open at their new location at 729 First Street, Ste C in downtown Brentwood? Go check them out. If you do, go on October 29 where they are hosting a fundraiser for the Brentwood Youth Commission. 20% of all profits benefit the youth commission while you can eat a hot dog and enjoy the parade. Been a busy few months working to support local events and fundraising efforts with the Downtown Brentwood Coalition’s Cornhole Tournament, Delta Harvest Run and Brentwood Rotary Poker Tournament. With fall in in full swing and winter is coming, they are now equipped with 11 patio awnings to allow for outdoor dining and fun. Growlers are available daily for refilling and now offering a selection of more than a 1,000 bottles and cans each day for patrons to check out. The menu includes a charcuterie board and pizza along with forever favorites such pretzels with beer cheese and loaded nachos.

Even with the wind and rain, the facility is still standing and even more swag is available. At the Oct. 17 tournament event, the team of Ewing and Temby walked away with the win scoring 18.23 pounds which was just ahead of Garrett-Vaughn (17.68 pounds).  The next two fishing tournaments are scheduled for November 14 and December 12 and launch out of Russo’s Marina on Bethel Island. For home defense, shotguns are available which include the Winchester 12g & 20g which range from $429-$649. They also have shotgun ammo in stock.
