On Monday, Contra Costa County Firefighters were dispatched to a report of a commercial structure fire in the 2400 block of Starlight Lane off Mahogany Way in Antioch.
While responding, Truck 83 reported brown smoke from a block out and upon arrival, spotted flames coming from a 4-plex building. The called for a 2nd alarm response.
The 2nd alarm response was not needed as firefighters were able to knock down the fire within less than 10-minutes.
According to the fire department, the tenants were in the process of moving out and were in the living space prior to the fire starting.
No cause of the fire has been released.
