Bicyclist Injured After Being Struck by Vehicle on County Hills Drive

At roughly 8:10 am Friday morning, Antioch Police and first responders responded to a vehilce versus bicyclist on Knollcrest Dr. in Antioch which left one youth transported to a local hospital as a precaution.

The incident occurred in a crosswalk at Knollcrest Dr. and  County Hills Drive. Little information has been released about this incident, however, it does appear the youth will be okay. Contra Costa County Fire Protection District and American Medical Response also responded to the call. Traffic was blocked for a short time as crews worked the incident.
