Antioch: Youth Airlifted to Hospital Sunday After Being Struck by Vehicle

The Antioch Police Department responded to a major vehicle collision on Sunday where an 10-year-old youth had to be transported by medical helicopter after being struck by a vehicle.

The incident occurred at 1:53 pm at Alumrock Drive and Rockford Drive where police say a Lexus a black Lexus vehicle had lost control while making a turn on to Alumrock Drive. The Lexus collided with a parked SUV as the occupants of the SUV were getting out of the parked vehicle.

During the collision, a 10 year old child was struck by one of the cars. The child was treated by medical personnel on scene and subsequently transported to an area hospital for injuries sustained in the collision.

The youth is expected to recover.

President Obama should probably try and ban black Lexus’ or atleast do background checks to buy one. It sounds like they are as dangerous as guns now.

Automobile deaths and gun deaths are pretty much tied at around 30,000 a year. I’m hoping he can more closely regulate both.
