Antioch: Vehicle Crashes into Structure on Manzanita Way

At 5:35 pm Friday, Contra Costa County Fire was dispatched to the 2300 block of Manzanita Way in the City of Antioch for a vehicle into a building.

Upon arrival of fire crews, they located a Malibu sedan that was launched completely into the building. Fire crews were on scene working to evaluate the integrity of the apartment building after the incident.

According to the District, three  3 teenagers that were in the car walked away with no injuries. And no one else was injured.

An eye witness was asked how fast the car appeared to be going, she said “it was going Freeway fast prior to the accident” .
