Antioch: Vehicle Crash Leads to Suspected DUI Arrest

At 10:51 pm Wednesday, the Antioch Police Department and Contra Costa County Fire responded to a report of a vehicle accident on E. 18th and Viera.

Upon arrival, Engine 81 of CONFIRE located a vehicle up on the curb which hit and compromised a large PG&E electrical box. The incident shut down E.18th for about an hour as crews worked the incident.

The driver of the van was arrested on a suspected DUI.
