Antioch: Truck Hit During Tuesday Afternoon Drive-By Shooting on Cavallo

by ECT

Cavallo Shooting

At roughly 12:30 pm Tuesday, Antioch residents reported hearing 5-gun shots on Cavallo Road near Nora Lee Ct. from a drive-by shooting. At this time, it appears no one was injured in the shooting, however, police did locate a bullet from a blue truck. We have no further information on this shooting at this time and will update should Antioch Police release any information.

It should be noted that at the time of this shooting, Antioch Police had several units off A Street for a possible residential burglary in progress with two subjects jumping over fences from the railroad tracks. They were searching homes along Belshaw St as well as across the railroad tracks on E. Madill St. Police did not locate the subjects, but did locate the home where its believed two subjects entered through an open window.

Start Praying because this town needs help and we aren' getting it from the City Officials Apr 8, 2014 - 3:22 pm

Yep, we don’t need police at all. Thank you politicians & citizens who voted for Measure (do what you want with our money) You never vote for a General Fund unless you enjoy a good tax raising & giving your money out just for the heck of it. Some ppl have been snoozing through how to not let polictians spend your money. I can’t believe the lack of logic in this city.

Another wonderful day in Antioch. Yesterday it was house robberies where the PD was chasing a juvenile and then Verizon, and two other cell phone places were all robbed an hour apart.. Wow. This is getting out of hand. Although statistics showed that violent crimes have gone down, it sure seems like everything else is increasing. SMH
