For the second summer, the Antioch Sports Legends Hall of Fame Alumni held their reunion BBQ at the gazebo on the beautiful Antioch Historical Museum’s grounds Saturday night.
Enjoying hamburgers and hot dogs prepared by Hall of Famers “The Big Righty” Butch Rounsaville , Rally Rounsaville , Alumni chairman Steve Parks and volunteers Kris Del Monte, Gary Bras and Bill Fraga were Grover Garvin, Mike and Lisa Hurd, Vic and Denise Thornhill, LeRoy and Joanne Murray and Jerry and Roila Norgol.
Navy, white and gold 10 Year Anniversary collector hats (15.00) were purchased along with Hall of Fame Gala tickets (65.00) by the Hall of Fame Alumni and volunteers.
Also taking in the cool Delta breeze at the Historical were children’s book writer Marian Parks, Tom and Adrian Edwards and their son Tom; Mark Ornellas, Big John Olenchalk and “Mr. Wednesday” Joe Olenchalk along with Coach John Whitman, Shawn Bogan, Tom Lamothe, Katie Cook, Kay Power Frank McCalister, John Joseph and JoAnne Rincon.
Also seen enjoying each other’s company were Joanne Bilbo, Hall of Fame founders, Jim Boccio and Leo Fontana.
