Antioch: Shots Fired, Three Injured After Being Struck by Vehicle Monday

On Monday, Antioch Police responded to a report of shots fired on Rogers Canyon Road where three people were injured after being struck by a vehicle.

According to Antioch Police Sergeant Tom Fuhrmann the incident occurred at 7:40 pm where a party got out of hand and people began to fight. Shots were fired after a vehicle fled the scene and struck three adults who suffered minor injuries. H

Fuhrmann explained no one was hit by gunfire but they did later locate shell casings.

According to radio traffic, police arrived on scene to find uncooperative subjects who said no gunshots were fired, however, a witness described the vehicle and subject and police soon located shell casings at Mokelumne and Mt Hamilton. As many as 30-people may have been involved while the suspects vehicle was a dark Toyota Camry.

 

Police would not confirm if this event was related to an earlier incident that occurred on W. 6th Street with reported weapons and fighting.
