A woman was arrested Saturday after a short vehicle pursuit between the 1400-1500 block of Sycamore in Antioch which left damage to two vehicles and an apartment structure.
Around 2:30 Saturday, Antioch Police responded to the 1400 block of Sycamore for a report of a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle who immediately tried to flee the area.
As police pulled into the driveway of the apartments, the stolen vehicle went an estimated 30-40 mph in reverse before crashing into a park car at the 1500 block Sycamore. The crash pushed the parked car into the building causing damage to the laundry room.
Police did say the pursuit lasted under a minute.
A male suspect fled the scene on foot and they were unable to locate. The female was arrested.
The vehicle was confirmed stolen out of Concord. Police did not provide any details on scene and did not confirm who stole the car or who was driving at the time of the crash.
