At roughly 9:20 am Thursday, the Antioch Police Department responded to the 2100 Block of Manzanita Way for reported gunshots where they arrested a 33-year-old male.
Antioch police quickly responded to the home where they located 8-subjects and quickly detained them. Meanwhile, a second call came in that had a male with a shotgun on Shadow Lane within an apartment complex.
Police searched the area but were unable to locate the subject. Meanwhile, back on Manzanita Way police questioned the 8-individuals who were detained who provided multiple versions of what had transpired with the gunshots. Police ultimately recovered two shotgun shells on the property.
Police confirmed they arrested a 33-year-old Antioch resident with prior criminal history which does not allow him to be around firearms. No one was injured in the shooting. Police provided no further information.
According to radio traffic as police were checking vehicles, multiple vehicles came back out of Richmond and Vallejo.
