On Saturday, the Antioch Police Department received calls that a male was on Highway 4 brandishing a firearm at vehicles passing by.
According to police, when a vehicle exited on Hillcrest Avenue, an officer approached the vehicle giving K9 orders when the driver surrendered.
Police say upon further investigation where the male had been reaching inside the vehicle, they located a loaded firearm.
The suspect was transported to county jail.

I have a visceral hatred for all liberals. Today’s “liberals” are very different from those who lived many decades ago (think JFK) and also the liberals who were the Founding Fathers (CLASSIC liberals.) Today’s liberals morphed into socialists/communists/fascists. They are running our schools. No wonder the government schools are in trouble.
Your perception is true that the liberal wing in the U.S. is getting ever more loopy. But the same holds for the conservative wing which has gotten just as loopy. The lunatic fringes on both ends of the political spectrum now predominate. What we need is a return to the predominance of the “moderate middle” when compromise was possible and things got done. Remember when there were “blue dog Democrats” and “moderate Republicans” in Congress?
