Antioch Police Set for 100th Neighborhood Cleanup

by ECT

The Antioch Police Department will host its 100th Neighborhood Clean Up. The focus area will be the Delta Fair Blvd, San Jose Drive and Buchanan Road area.

The event will be held on Sept. 7 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm where attendees will be meeting at Antioch Covenant Church (1919 Buchanan Rd, Antioch)

This will be a great opportunity for community members and kids to engage with our Antioch Police Officers. Immediately after the clean up we will have a small celebration.

– Tacos will be provided for volunteers
– There will be rock painting activities for the kids provided by Art Guild of the Delta
– Kids will receive a swag bag with treats and coupons for more treats!

They are hoping Antioch businesses, organizations, and residents will participate and make this clean up the most successful clean up! Collectively, “We”, everyone who works and lives in the City Antioch, can make a difference and improve the quality of life. It’s our community and it’s our chance to make a difference.

The “Neighborhood Cleanup” should include getting rid of the criminal garbage in this city!
