On Tuesday, the Antioch Police Department said they have detained two suspects in connection with an interrupted residential burglary.
Police altered the community just before 10:00 am announcing they had established a perimeter in the area of Mattole Road, Golf Course Road, Mt. Hamilton, Rockspring, and Rogers Canyon as two suspects attempted to escape.
This forced Antioch Police, along with a CHP helicopter to provide air support, to perform a yard-to-yard search of homes.
A short time later, both suspects were detained after they tried to get into a vehicle. Police recovered two firearms. No other information was available.
