Antioch Police Nab Christmas Day Armed Robbery Suspect

On Christmas Day, the Antioch Police Department responded to 7-Eleven at Hillcrest and E. Tregallas for a report of a male who pulled out a knife during an armed robbery in the City of Antioch.

According to police, the suspect pulled out a knife while shoplifting alcohol and snacks. The employee called 9-1-1 in which officers responded.  The suspect was located and surrendered after using de-escalation techniques and the threat of a K9.

Police took the man into custody. No other information was available.
