Antioch Police Nab Armed Robbery Suspect Plus Purse Snatchers

Over the weekend, the Antioch Police Department made three arrests in three different robbery incidents within the City of Antioch. They also arrested a convicted felony who had a firearm, drugs and fake drivers license after a vehicle crash led to carjacking attempt before good Samaritans intervened.

Police released the information Monday.


Date: 2-19-22 TIME 12:05 pm

Suspect: Donald Armour (22)

2/19/2022 at 1205 hrs, officers responded to the area of Sycamore and Auto Center Dr for a report of a robbery. The victims purse was stolen. The next day at 1421 am Officer recognized the responsible and arrested him. The purse was located and returned to the victim. Suspect: Donald Armour (22). Unknown what city he is out of.


DATE: 2-20-22 TIME:  3:25 am

ARRESTED: Nathanael Hatfield (38)

On the listed date and time, officers responded to 3701 Sunset Lane (7-11) on a report of an armed robbery.  Dispatch advised a subject entered the store and demanded cash and was threatening the clerk with a rock and a knife.  Upon arrival, the suspect, identified as Nathanael Hatfield, was still on scene. Hatfield was detained without incident. The clerk handed over approximately $25.00 in cash. Hatfield was booked into MDF.

ARRESTEE(S): Masaiyah Sharp (18)

The victim was walking on the 2300 block of Sequoia Dr when Sharp approached her and forcibly took her purse from her and ran through the trail behind Sequoia Dr. Officers circulated the area and located Sharp. Sharp was transported to MDF.


Vehicle Crash and Carjacking Attempt on Lone Tree Leads to Arrest

On Saturday at approximently 5:30 pm, Antioch Police responded to a report of a multi-vehicle crash at Lone Tree Way at the Terrace Shopping Center. The lanes blocked northbound traffic.

After the crash, the driver attempted to flee the scene and hopped into another vehicle before being pulled out of the vehicle by multiple people in the area. He was held until police arrived on scene–police say this was an attempted carjacking after the crash. A search of the drivers vehicle resulted in the discovery of a pistol , drugs (heroin, Xanax, and fake drivers license.

The driver was a convicted felon and his identity was not released. No other information was released on this incident.
