Just after 8:00 am Thursday, the Antioch Police Department responded to Sycamore Drive for a report of a subject who had just been stabbed in the City of Antioch.
Accoridng to preliminary information, this was a verbal altercation that became physical in a parking lot. During the fight, one subject stabbed another involved party and fled the scene. The person was transported by AMR to a local hospital.
The condition of the stabbing victim was not known as of 9:14 am. The suspects involved were not known and no information was provided on suspect description.
Antioch Police are currently investigating the incident.
