That shooting happened in front of Bonfare! The City should shut that store down. You should see that trash that goes inside and comes out of there. They’ve had all kinds of problems and it’s ruining the community.

Most of the homeless down by the river are good people. And do help people in need.homeless or not.have you ever bothered to stop and talk to any of them.probably not.shame on you.cuz there hearts are bigger then yours.we homeless people are just as devastated by the deaths and crimes as everybody else.

Bonfare attracts mostly weirdos! There have been a lot of fights and more outside their door. When I drive by (which I avoid doing as much as possible), there are questionable characters outside and the spring across the street without even so much as glancing at traffic. That store is a magnet.

It might not be so bad at the Bonfare store if police would get up off their lazy butts and do something about the loitering there. There is always a cast of characters just hanging around outside that store. Antioch Police are contributing to the decline of the city with their poor performance and ridiculous policies. Until there is improvement in police services we can expect the killing to continue.

Seems all Bumfare stores attract the undesirables.

I’ve never been to any Bonfare, and we don’t live in Antioch. Obviously the owners are tolerating it. Don’t blame the police. They can’t be everywhere, and if the store owners are tolerating it – the police aren’t going to do anything. They respond to CALLS.

seems like Antioch has a lot of undesirables

I’ve never been to any Bonfare, but if the owners are tolerating it – there you go.
