At 7:38 pm Friday, the Antioch Police Department responded to a report of a stabbing in the area of E 18th Street near A Street in the City of Antioch.
Upon arrival, one person was stabbed in the leg. Contra Costa County Fire Protection District was called and upon their arrival, it was determined two other people were also stabbed for a total of three patients with stab/cut wounds.
Engine 81 crew requested two additional AMR units to the scene.
No other information was readily available and patient status has not been provided. It is also unclear if any arrests occurred at this time.
According to Antioch Police, all the wounds were superficial and occurred in the Antioch Square at a homeless encampment, but did require transportation to a hospital. Police are following up on suspect leads and no other information at this time.
