At 10:38 pm Sunday, Antioch Police responded to the area of E. 18th and Blossom Drive for a report of a motorcycle crash.
Upon arrival, police located a motorcyclist down in the roadway who was deceased. The motorcyclist and the motorcycle were several hundred yards apart.
Police currently have the roadway shutdown and are investigating as no details have been released. The roadway is shutdown in both directions at Hillcrest and E 18th as well as E 18th and Terrace Drive.
Update
According to Antioch Police, the motorcyclist was a 25-year-old male out of Oakley. His name was not released.
The roadway has since been re-opened.
