Update via Antioch Unified School District

Dear AUSD families and the larger Antioch community,

On Friday night, following a peaceful athletic event, a DVHS student was shot in the parking lot. The student has since passed away from his injuries. Our hearts and sympathies are with the families during this time of unimaginable pain.

We, along with the rest of AUSD, denounce this senseless violence and call on the community to come together to address such vicious brutality. Our children must be taught that solving disagreements with violence is not the answer and that there are other ways to resolve our differences that do not result in the unjust and unnecessary killing of our youth. Finally, we ask that everyone in this community and nearby communities, model the love and peace they hope to create.

Grief counselors will be on site tomorrow.

With heavy hearts,

Stephanie Anello, Superintendent
Bukky Oyebade, Principal Deer Valley High School

COWARD…

Better Repent Mar 13, 2020 - 3:05 pm

Charged in Juvenile court? So all he has to do is evade police until 23 then he’s Scott free huh? What a joke…. Send him to the place where the killers dwell with no gun. Can’t pull out a gun when everyone is fighting over there. Only thing you might pull out over there is an 8inch blade from your booty. Even if he got apprehended now to honestly think 8 years locked up in CYA will rehabilitate him is a joke. You’re just setting someone else up to get murdered by him. If you’re reading this kid Jesus is the only one who can save you. Full repentance and living in a newness of life seeking holiness is your only hope not to be tortured for eternity. The bloodthirsty will not even live out half of their days. Don’t think you have long to repent.

I read in another article the victim was just attacked at random in the parking lot,. Really awful that people cannot safely attend a high school basketball game.

On a side note, has anyone done a study on predicting a child’s future from the retarded names their mammies give them?

“15-year-old Daiveon Allison was identified as the shooter.” Parents should also be charged!

I bet he has no “parents” probably a mother who has several kids by different men she wouldn’t even recognize nor remember ………. or the kid is raised by his grandma who can’t handle him “Yur nut my mama!” attitude.

Who has he been living with in Pittsburg? Their feet should be put to-the-fire. Is there a family tree? He’s probably hiding out with some uncle in Oakland. It might be good for the police to offer a sizable reward for someone to turn his sorry ass in.

Looks like this punk didn’t get enough ass-whoopin’ during his formative years!
