The Antioch Police Department announced the arrest of an individual who was attempting to steal an entire ATM at Chase Bank located on Delta Fair Blvd in the City of Antioch.
According to police, the suspect was attempting to utilize a van, a chain and sledgehammer as part of the theft.
Police say when officers responded, they took two suspects into custody who attempted to flee the scene. A third was able to get away. They are now attempting to identify the third suspect.
The van used in this theft attempt was stolen from a nearby apartment complex.
No suspect information was released on the incident.
