The Antioch Police Department announced Thursday that four people were arrested after a shooting that killed Joseph Spencer, 21, of Richmond on Wednesday.
Antioch Police Lieutenant Anthony Morefield did not release names due to the current state of the investigation, but said two adult males and two juvenile males were arrested in connection with the homicide.
On May 25 at 10:35 am Wednesday, the Antioch Police Department responded to a report of shots fired near Crater Peak Way and Black Diamond Drive.
Upon arrival, officers located a suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and Contra Costa County Firefighters and AMR responded to provide life saving measures but the male later was deceased.
Morefield says the Antioch Police Department hopes to file this case with the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office later this week and that further information will be provided once it becomes appropriate to do so.
Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to call Detective James Colley with the Antioch Police Department at (925)779-6922.. You may also text a tip to 274637 (CRIMES) using key word ANTIOCH
