Antioch: Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle Sunday Night on E. 18th

At 6:17 pm Sunday, a pedestrian was struck on E. 18th at Trembath Lane in Antioch where they were transported by AMR to a local hospital.

No information has been released about the incident, however, the driver of the vehicle had a shattered windshield and hit the subject going in the westbound direction on E. 18th. The incident shutdown traffic in both lanes in the westbound direction.

The incident occurred just west of the Cornerstone Church where there is no sidewalk and a shopping cart nearby. The lighting was also dull.

As of 6:50 pm, police were still on scene investigating.
