On Wednesday, the Antioch Police Department responded to E. Tregallas Road near Garrow Drive for a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian in the City of Antioch.
The incident occurred just after 10:00 pm where they found a 68-year-old Antioch resident nonresponsive and suffering from major injuries The male was immediately transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and was cooperative with the investigation. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in this collision.
Antioch Police are still investigating the crash.
