Woodland, CA – December 13, 2021– Taveon Thompson, age 18, and Dorian Adams, age 19, from the City of Antioch, have been charged with multiple felonies by the Yolo County District Attorney’s Office. The two were arrested by Davis Police on December 9, 2021, after a series of thefts starting in Woodland and ending in Davis on the same day.
A criminal complaint was filed today, alleging organized retail theft as well as one count of conspiracy each for each theft from CVS in Woodland and Davis, and from Walgreens in Woodland, all felonies.
They will be arraigned in Department 1 of the Yolo County Superior Court at 1:30 p.m. Adams posted $50,000 bail while Thompson remains in custody with bail set in the amount of $50,000.
Note – In total, the pair is accused of stealing nearly $1,250 in merchandise from the three Yolo County stores.

According to the Davis Police Department, on December 09, at approximately 09:00 a.m., the Davis Police Department received a 911 call reporting a theft in-progress at the CVS drug store located at 1550 East Covell Blvd.
Two suspects entered the store with large bags, grabbed items off the shelf, and fled the area in a vehicle. As the suspects were leaving the City, Davis Police officers stopped the vehicle and located the stolen items in the car.
Further investigation revealed both suspects may be responsible for similar thefts in Woodland that occurred prior to the Davis incident.
Dorian Adams, a 19-year-old female out of Antioch, and Taveon Thompson, an 18-year-old male out of Antioch, were arrested by officers and booked at the Yolo County Jail for burglary, conspiracy, and participating in organized retail theft.
Organized retail theft is a growing problem in Davis and Yolo County as a whole. The Davis Police Department will continue to investigate and aggressively pursue those who engage in such activity.
