Antioch: Man With Gunshot Wound Shows Up to Local Hospital

Just after 7:00 pm Friday, the Antioch Police Department and Contra Costa County firefighters responded to a report of a male victim who was shot.

Upon arrival at the Kaiser on Delta Fair Blvd, police located a male subject who had been shot in the leg and medical care was provided–he was expected to survive.

According to police, two other males were with the victim and drive him to Kaiser for medical care. While police were arriving on scene, the driver attempted to leave the scene before being stopped by police and taken into custody.

After police investigated the incident and searched the vehicle, the man was released along with his vehicle. The other man was also interviewed by police.

According to police, the shooting occurred at an unknown location and none of those involved were Antioch residents.

No further information was released.

Typical news in Antioch Ca . Police should just do one thing on the highway fix the crazy driver on highway 4 near hillcreat exit ……… since police can’t handle the gangster here just fix the crazy driver at least please . Or go to hillcreat exit arrest those gang sell drugs at 76 or Chevron gas station police must know because everyone see it ! Everybody goes to that gas station see it ! How can police don’t care about that ?
