Antioch: Man Robbed in Front of Granddaughter

by ECT

On May 31 at 10:46 am, a male victim had just arrived in his driveway in the 2600 block of Bugle Way and was taking his granddaughter out of his truck, when a male suspect approached from behind.

According to Antioch Police, the suspect put an unknown object (believed to be a gun) to the victim’s back and told him to empty his pockets. The victim put his granddaughter down and told her to go inside. He gave the suspect his phone, wallet and keys.

A second suspect fled on foot, while the main suspect took the victim’s gold 2008 GMC Sierra 4 door pickup. The victim attempted to follow the suspect in a different vehicle but lost sight after a few blocks.

The vehicle was entered into the stolen vehicle computer system.

I really saddened that a young child had to witnesses this type of activity and now she will be scared for life. I wish the two victims my best, and this shouldn’t have happened.

It’s a shame this type of behavior is the norm here in Antioch. These low life’s have no morals, no ethics, no positive influencing, etc., and it truly stems from their upbringing.

Where are our city leaders? You have truly failed at your jobs!!! Politics is not your Forte. I will not Vote for any current and/or past Antioch’s Mayor(s) and Councilmembers for re-election or high political positions. They all have FAILED Antioch!!!

Is Antioch doomed?

I was listening to NPR today about how black criminals need more street basketball in their lives. You see basketball is very similar to attending church. They feel connected to each other through having a common purpose and rubbing themselves flesh on flesh. The man providing such important information is a current professor at an elite school who just published a book how theology, basketball, and youth poor are spiritually connected. I won’t be searching for this hogwash to read.

Did the article state the ethnicity of the suspect?

Fed Up – it’s not the Cops, in fact they are doing a great job. The true issue at hand is our wonderful local government: The three stooges (our Mayor, the City Council and the City Manager) dictates how the cops answer calls for services and how they are handled.

They all need to be replaced, until that happens, the cesspool will continue to flow. Support the local police, and kick out the local government trash. Don’t support them as they try to climb the political ladder.
