Antioch: Man Injured After Chainsaw Strikes Leg

At 10:00 am Wednesday, Contra Costa County Fire responded to a report of a male injured on Portola Court in the City of Antioch.

Upon arrival, they located a 50-year-old male suffering from a traumatic injury from a chainsaw which struck his leg.

A medical helicopter was immediately requested and would be landing in the area of Mark Twain Drive. However, it was cancelled and opted for ground transport by AMR.
