Antioch: Man Dies in Tuesday Stabbing on W. 19th Street

On June 6 at approximately 8:13 pm, the Antioch police officers responded to the 400 block of W. 19th Street near C Street on the report on a male bleeding.

Once at the scene, officers located the victim who had an apparent stab wound to his torso. The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

According to Lieutenant Bittner, the victim was only identified as an Hispanic adult male and that no further information was released because the case is currently under investigation.

This is Antioch’s 5^th homicide of 2017.
