Suicide Prevention

There’s a myth that people who talk about suicide won’t really do it. This is wrong. Before attempting suicide, many people make direct statements about their intention to end their lives or less direct comments about how they might as well be dead or that their friends and family will be better off without them. Any reference to suicide should be taken seriously.

I’m so very sorry for the family’s loss, suicide is such a terrible loss for the family and friends left behind. They will alway’s wonder why and if they could have done something to help or stop the person from killing themselves!

Absolutely. I didn’t realize the hurt it put my family through. Luckily I was brought back from death and I will never do that to my family again

All of My Love and Prayers to the Family!!!???

Prayers going out to the friends and family. It’s never easy going through this. It always hits a place in my heart when I see this. I am a suicide survivor and live with brain damage today from being dead so long and losing so much oxygen to my brain when I was dead. My mom found me and the docotrs at Sutter Delta honestly didn’t plan on me making it. If I did my family was told I would be a vegetable on dialysis for the rest of my life. Luckily I just struggle with processing things like a person who has had a stroke. I get confused a lot and draw blanks. Please if anyone feels like they can’t live in pain or misery anymore, call someone or the suicide numbers. You don’t realize the people who love you and their pain at the loss. There are options. I use to feel like no one could possibly understand the pain I felt everyday and there are actually people who do.
