Two Bank Robberies Cleared with an Arrest

SUSPECT(S): Daniel Hodges, 38 year old male who was known to reside in Antioch.

We are happy to announce that we have made an arrest on a suspect we feel is responsible for two of our recent bank robberies. Multiple agencies were involved in this investigation and it would not have been possible without their cooperation and hard work.

On 01/08/14, we distributed a press release covering a bank robbery that occurred at Bank of the West in San Leandro. Immediately following that robbery members of our investigative teams started generating leads and following them up. We obtained a lead that the suspect in the incident may be in a particular area of San Francisco. Our investigators went to San Francisco and started conducting surveillance on the area. Within hours they located the suspect and arrested him.

Lt. Randall Brandt stated, “We recently identified a spike in bank robberies and we knew we needed to shift some of our resources to address them. Our investigators were able to reveal key leads that lead to his capture without incident.”

If this white man was arrested for the bank robbery, why is there a picture of a black man on the facebook post?

Two different police departments were using different photos… we made the correction with the right photo.

How could that be that two totally different photos go out for the same person? I hate to be the photo of the person mistaken. Those multiple agencies must not have communicated with each other.
