After a short search, an officer located the male hiding in bushes behind the New Hope Church on Worrell and attempted to take the male into custody.

According to radio traffic, the suspect was resisting arrest and a struggle pursued until a K9 was released and assisted police in taking the suspect into custody. AMR and Contra Costa County Fire were then requested for a dog bite to the arm.
