That area has over 100 “campers” (aka, homeless) pitching their tents. Why is the Water District allowing this on THEIR property? Those fires did not start by themselves! The people must be removed from there immediately … and also those perched along the railroad tracks throughout Antioch!

How many fires does this make over the past couple of weeks, this is the third I think. Police are letting this go too? Maddening. Yeah, plenty of opportunity to start fires, not businesses.

Jeezus H! Can’t go anywhere without stumbling upon an encampment. Every g.d. piece of land has tents on it. Run down to the river and see THOSE encampments with a water view. Just maddening

Gonna get a lot worse with the layoffs and no staff to clean it up.

Let’s have sympathy for our unhoused population. You know no ones perfect, yeah sometimes a bbq fire doesn’t get put out or an unhoused resident takes a good hit an falls asleep with a lit cigarette but who’s perfect here?

I worry more about them polluting the delta, all the human waste and garbage right into the water. Not a word from the environmentalists, guess the conflict of there ideology to much to handle.

Your head will explode when you find out what the canneries used to do to the delta. And let’s turn a blind eye to the creator of napalm owning the wetlands.
