At 7:45 pm Friday, the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded to a report of a residential structure fire in the 200 block of Matsqui Road off Longview Road in the City of Antioch.
While responding, Engine 82 reported a large cloud of black smoke showing and upon arrival reported a fully involved garage with flames showing and appeared to have an active attic fire. All occupants were reported out of the home.
Update
As of 8:06 pm, the fire was knocked down. Crews were anticipated to be on scene mopping up for an hour or so.
