Antioch Crime Reports Down For More than a Month Due to Technical Issue

by ECT

For those interested in Antioch Police incidents utilizing Crime Reports, you are out of luck as Crime Reports has been down for a month.

Antioch Police Chief Tammany Brooks was first made aware of the issue on May 31 showing the previous two-weeks of crimes were not listed on the map. At the time, he was looking into the issue saying the problem was with Motorola.

On June 14, Brooks confirmed they were still working on figuring out the issue with their CAD vendor who determined the issue was on Motorola’s end but they still didn’t have exact details.

As of today (June 24), Brooks again said Motorola is the problem but added they changed their server and haven’t been able to figure out why they can’t retrieve the Antioch Police data.

“Our IT staff is actively working with them to resolve the issue, but there is no projected timeline on when it will be completed,” said Brooks.
