Antioch: 369 PG&E Customers Without Power After Vehicle Crashes into Pole

At 10:45 am Thursday, Antioch Police and Contra Costa County firefighters responded to a vehicle accident that reportedly took out a power pole.

Antioch Power OutageUpon arrival, police located the driver who self extricated himself and appeared uninjured.

The incident, caused police to shut down Longview Road at Acorn in the eastbound direction for downed wires leaving 369 PG&E customers without power. The PG&E website says power is expected to be restored by 2:00 pm.

According to radio traffic, the driver was from Oakley, CA.
