This is a shame that our youth are this desperate

Look at the picture, this kid has nice sneakers, clothes, everything. He’s not desperate, he is entitled to take what he wants.

Our youth aren’t desperate, this is a ghetto mentality problem. I bet he has a cellphone and video games. his shoes are more expensive then most people can afford. Sounds like he belongs to the same club as a certain city council members off spring does. The I’m a spoiled moral-less thug like the rest these punks around here. He’ll be standing on the corner asking for a handout if he doesn’t get his mentality adjusted. Best bet for him is to get his life together & go to the military. They’ll fix his low life ways. I’m sure he has a family member enabling him by telling everyone what a good boy he really is. We’ve all seen it in print over and over again. Another good boy he’s not!

Once they stop worrying about having thousands in clothes and fashion then things will change instead save up for a car not the latest Jordan’s if all you can afford is a bus ride or steal a bike smh.

And now, the big question is -will the county district attorney do anything?

Malia May 17, 2021 - 6:56 pm

Yes, that is a good question. Aside from that, people need to do their part and put the right people into office. I have have observed for many years now on how this area has continuously deteriorated as a community. I’m sure there are so many others who moved here to raise their children in a better environment. This is not just a problem here but in many cities across our state and country. Everyone needs to do their part (parents, etc), but also we need to elect those who will fight for the rights of our citizens. Thank you APD for your hard work and dedication. Thank you ECT too!

Candidate for City Council. I agree, where are this kid’s parents? Why doesn’t he want a better life than robbing and thug hung? 12-year old girl shot inside her own house, wow, how does that happen. Ghost Gun 101 being offered in school?

The 12 year old was a runaway from Oakland who was caught and placed in a foster home. It was not her house. Where were the adults who were in charge of supervising her?
