Animal Hospital of Antioch Set to Close January 31

by ECT

On Monday, the Animal Hospital of Antioch announced it was closing its doors on January 31, 2018. They offered two recommendations for clients to take their animals after their closure.

Additionally, Dr. Gray will continue to serve clients needs at Lafayette Animal Hospital.

Here is a copy of their email they sent their clients:

It is with a heavy heart that we are writing to inform you that after many years of dedicated service, Animal Hospital of Antioch is unfortunately closing its doors on January 31, 2018. We are honored and grateful to have been entrusted with your pet’s care. The good news is that we have a plan in place that will ensure the same level of care, compassion, and medical expertise for your beloved pet.

We have identified two high quality veterinary care facilities in our area and recommend that you transition your pet’s care to one of the following clinics. Additionally, Dr. Gray, our highly regarded, experienced, and compassionate veterinarian, will continue to serve your pet’s needs at Lafayette Animal Hospital.

So sad and sorry to hear of this news. Dr Gray is the most compassionate and caring vet I have ever known. We owe him so many thanks for what he has done for several generations of pets ( Molly especially) and for us. We will always have a soft spot in our hearts for everything he and his wonderful staff have done for us. We will try and make the trek over to Lafayette because of this. Brittany & Joanna, we wish you much happiness and best of luck in your new endeavors. Thanks so much for always being there for us and our fur babies.

It’s disgusting that a business has to close because of the garbage that has invaded our streets while the city council and the police do nothing. Living in the parking lot, urinating against the building, fighting at the front door, etc. This is business as usual in Antioch.
