Antioch: Man Robbed at Gunpoint at Somersville Mall Over PS4

by ECT

According to the Antioch Police Department, a 28-year-old male attempted to purchase a PlayStation4 when he was robbed at gunpoint.

Police say the incident occurred on October 26 at 4:30 pm after the victim brokered a deal and agreed to meet the “sellers” of a PS4 in the mall parking lot on Somersville Road. The suspect arrived in a grey Dodge Intrepid where an adult male exited to contact the victim.

The male held the victim and gunpoint, demanding his money, taking $400.00.

The suspect got back into the car with another male and fled the area. The victim was not able to get a license plate number. A BOLO was completed with the information we had, and the investigation is ongoing.

No injuries were incurred by the victim.

Yes James, share with the rest of us what you know.

Meanwhile I’ll let you know that Walmart has a new PS4 with Turtle Beach headphones for $369! Who in their right mind would go to an Antioch parking lot with $400 cash to buy a used one?
