The Pittsburg Police Department has launched a new sex offender public notification website called Offender Watch. The new service is citizen-friendly and allows users to search for sex offenders who reside near their homes, places of work, schools, churches, and day care centers.
The information is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is updated by the Pittsburg Police Department on a regular basis. Citizens of Pittsburg can sign up for email notifications of updated sex offender information through Offender Watch which can be accessed through the City website (www.ci.pittsburg.ca.us) by going to City Services > Police > Support Services Bureau or by clicking the link below:
