The Antioch Police are looking into an assault Tuesday that left a 61-year-old female hospitalized after she was attacked by 3-black males just after 10:00 am.
The assault occurred in the parking lot at the Commons at Dallas Ranch at the Assisted Living Facility on Dallas Ranch Road.
Police stated Tuesday night that they did not believe this was a robbery attempt because they did not take any possessions from the female such as her wallet, car keys or other items. Police said the female suffered a scratch to her head and bruises to the arms. They were not aware of any other injuries.
According to a close friend of the victim, she says the injures included a fractured pelvic bone which has multiple fractures. She is looking at 8-weeks in a nursing home for her recovery. The victim also sustained multiple bruises to her face and body. She also suffered multiple hematoma’s to the head, arms, and legs.
The friend also explained the incident as told to her which the victim was headed to see her mother when she was approached by a black male who asked for directions. While talking, another guy walked up behind her and hit her in the head. The three proceeded to assault her in the parking lot before leaving.

Ok I’m sorry to go this far, but I am really sick of these young, black males being the root of most of our problems here in East County, particularly Antioch. 3 young, black males attacking a 61 year old? You cannot be more of a coward then that. One talks to her and asks for directions, while another begins attacking her from the back? How much of a threat could this 61 year old really have been? i hope all 3 of thes cowards are caught soon and brought to justice.

because when we ran this, police have not released any info nor have they yet to release any follow up info. We went to the family and friends of the victim for the info
The major and the police chief are going to discount any crime in antioch. We have NO crime here. The victim received a scratch to the head? Ask yourself why the major got rid of the police scanner. We have only the news to inform us now of what is happening in antioch. Those reports are only what they will put out there, discounted and biased.
